Silly Safaris at the library - July 11, 2013
Screeches, screams and giggles could probably be heard outside if you were walking by the Madison County Public Library in Berea during the Silly Safaris live animal show on Thursday.
“Coyote” Chris brought his furry, slimy and scaly friends for a presentation that delighted both kids and adults.
Children got a hands-on experience with Bubb the African bullfrog, Frank the ferret, the “very scary” bunny Foo Foo, Burt the red-tailed boa constrictor, Harry the screaming armadillo and Hoosier [hoooo-sher] the Eurasian Eagle owl. (He’s from Indiana).
A lucky few got a kiss on the nose from Bob the blue-tongued skink.
The Madison County Public Library hosts free programs throughout the summer and at both Richmond and Berea locations.
